Hi are the prices for the 780's good at the moment or are they too dear cause most of them are around 380-430 pounds, are they worth it ?cause Im thinking of buying one ?
Thanks

Its the lowest they've been so far, though the best time to buy you'd is when the next gen comes out. I grabbed a 670 on offer when the 7 series came out. :).

Cant say ive ever seen them at £340.00, though a few weeks ago ocuk had the msi gaming edition at £359.99 on a this week only deal. Cracking price for a very nice card.

I don't think they'll go much if anything below 350 - so not much saving compared to now

what is more likely to happen is they get phased out and the Tis drop in price - they've already started dropping, and I guess not long before they'll start dropping towards 450 and below - like the 780s did

especially as availability of 290s/290x-s increases

I cant see 780's being phased out until the 800 series replacements are introduced
Lots of segments in a GPU line up and people buy at different pricepoints so they like to have a fullish range of grunt/price, Its why eg AMD have re released the 7950 (280) just fills a gap/pricepoint

Won't have seen them at £340 yet at a reputable retailer - drop shippers and the likes possibly but gl with that :S

The prices aren't too bad really for what these cards are.

GTX780 are great reliable cards good idea to get one now which will more than play most games at ultra settings, then when then the next generation cards come along just get another 780 and sli them then you should have enough too keep you going for years.
