as selling parts is not allowed on the overclockers forums

if someone did want to sell the high end pc were would be a good place as i dont want to **** about on ebay

You must make sure you fully star out any swear words.

Selling is allowed. But not until you've been here for quite a while, 250 posts and 3 months I believe.

My advice is that it isn't possible to sell high end pcs. Low end can be sold locally, but anyone buying high end wont want the entire box. Strip it down and sell the components.

Cheers

Ninja out the bay ;)

Actually it is allowed, but you need 250 posts to gain access to the Members Market (more details in FAQ)

Cant really give any suggestions as any corporate location where you could sell would be a place that we could buy. Hence they would be a competitor..

It is allowed if you have enough posts to enter the member market.

Access to the Members Market forum requires two things. Firstly, you will need to have over 250 posts and have been signed up for at least 90 days. Please note that this does not mean you spam the forums simply to increase your posts, as this action will result in posts being deducted, and if you continue this behaviour, your account will eventually be banned/suspended. Once you reach 250 posts, you will need to activate your trust. This is either found in your UserCP, or you can press the trust button that appears at the bottom of all your posts.

yeah def strip down anyone wanting to build a PC will definately buy everything seperately and will most likely have a different idea about high end than you!!

Hope I didnt offend!!

costed the rigg today on overclockers it stands me just short of £1900 i dont want to spam the fourm though to get into the market place

That was probably not 2k best spent if you're looking at selling already. I'm sorry to hear it.

However with those components stripping it down and selling the pieces is very definitely the way to go. Unfortunate that you don't have mm access. no one is going to offer you £1500 for a system with attached warranty issues when they could buy new and get the components they want.

how do ya get onto the members market i have 250+ posts been a member for more than 90 days and done the trust thing

Email a don will be your best bet, when did you do yout trust, I had to wait an hour or so when I did mine.

Bearing this in mind...

Id suggest emailing him through the link in his sig, the no buying and selling outside the mm rule is going to get this locked I suspect

as for ebay i'd prefer to sell it to some who knew what they were looking at

I'm sure there are people on ebay who know what they are looking at!

My advice would be break it down into componants and sell them off solo. If you do do it on ebay make sure you mention in each auction you are selling other bits and you might get someone buy up a few bits as a bundle.

There is a Members Market section on this forum. However, you must meet the following requirements to be able to access it:
