Were's the "forward wind" on Ipod 32G?

Hello,

Had my Ipod touch 32GB today, and added some audio books to it. However, if they are 2 hours long (say), I have difficulty in finding exact locations in the playlist. Thre IS a scroll bar to move forward, but with long mp3 etc, it jumps in minutes rather than seconds. Can't find anything in the manual (only had it today though):) - so maybe some third party software? (its a audio book from my pc, not a Dowload from itunes btw:)

thanks

yes one expensive update alright:) lol. (£5.99 of course:p). However, i've not, in my decade+ of computing, come across an update that you have to pay for - I don't think...

Apple are required to charge for the updates because of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

In essence.. iPhone users pay a contractual fee, so the iPod Touch can't seem to be getting updates for free. While it remains to be seen why they don't just make it 59p, or even 1p

Yes, had a read of that EVH, thanks.

To save starting another thread, DOES the ipod STOP charging itself once fully charged? as sometimes i leave it in laptop via USB. Quote from PDF manual

"Rechargeable batteries have a limited number of charge cycles and may eventually
need to be replaced. The iPod touch battery is not user replaceable; it can be replaced
only by an authorized service provider.

My sony laptop has battery management (stops charging when full), wondered if the ipod has something similar.

TIA
