West Ham away?

Are you going by train to london? If i was you i would make a day/weekend of it and do something else in London as well.

I am a West Ham fan and used to live near the stadium. There are some nice pie and mash shops etc but generally speaking it is not the nicest place in the world. As an away fan I am sure you are going to be in and out and wont be hanging around upton park/east ham which is why i suggest you go out for the evening in London.

What time is the match?

Yep I live around Brighton area so not tricky to get to. Whats the away pubs do you know?

Yeah I should imagine I will stay in London and watch the evening kick off if there is one.

3pm Kick off for Villa v WH.

I went there last year with Chelsea and to be honest it's not the most welcoming area nowadays and as suggested above the best thing to do is to go there, watch the game, then go somewhere else.

I think thats gonna be the plan of action to be honest. Want a few beers near the ground though, so just gonna try and find a pub where Villa fans are drinking in and that we won't get stabbed in.

Do you hide your colours when you go there or just wear something neutral?

I've worn away colours all over the place and never had any bother, as long as you don't match it up with the latest stone island jeans and jacket combo or what ever other crud the 'casuals' are wearing these days the chances of you getting any trouble if you a sensible human being are very very small. The only exception for me would be big local derbies I'd never wear away colours to a Saint Pompey match at Fratton as plenty of idiots get a bit carried away although these days there are probably only 20 people in the ground.
