So the Westone 3s (which have been referred to as the UM3s for the past ~24 months) are finally out this week with a retail price of $399.99. No word yet on what that will translate into £, but it will most likely lie around £270-£290.
I haven't actually found any UK places selling these headphones, but according to various reports on Head-fi and reviews (google "The Westone 3 Earphones Review") these appear to be the ultimate universal IEM.
I've had my eye on some Sennheiser IE8s to replace my (uncomfortable) Triple.fi 10s but I think it might be silly at this price point to get anything other than the best! Will hopefully have a range of reviews and user feedback within the next month, and presumable we'll start seeing the headphones offered for sale in the UK within the same time frame.
