US: Westworld

Better episode than last week that answered some of the questions, still on with the for every answer you get more questions.

Saw some more of the other parks and next week should hopefully show some Shogun world.

This series will definitely be a better watch the second time around.

It's lost its charm a bit for me, feels like they're trying too hard.

I thought the two lady hosts could control other hosts? Was there a point at which Bernard released a bit of code to stop hosts from obeying commands?

I am always amazed by how great Louis Herthum is at playing a malfunctioning robot.

When he quotes Shakespeare in his "cannibal" character, is truly creepy.

Agreed, Bernard plays it very well too.

Thoughts on what Bernard did with the data and key in E03? Did he download it to himself?

Continues to impress. Episode 3 was fun. Loved the reappearance of some Season 1 characters, not seen up until now in season 2.

"She has a Dragon..."

That one creased me up. Great delivery.

Loved the first series, thought it ended perfectly and didn’t actually need anything more. Not really feeling this series at all. Feels already that they can drag these worlds out for as long as they want.

Yes i was under the impression that he copied it to himself which caused him to start malfunctioning

That is hilarious :)

Not as good as the first series, but still finding it intriguing. The underlying twists seem a little more obvious this time too.

Hm, i actually really didn't like episode 3.

I really wish we could have an explanation as to how the guns work. Has it ever been explained why all the guns and weapons can suddenly kill people and why that can't be switched back?

Also, the whole fighting between the hosts/human guards is getting boring and tiresome. How on earth do they not have some sort of EMP tech that can knock them all offline at the flick of a switch? I'm really struggling to suspend disbelief at the fact that there are hosts as advanced as they are, yet the best they have against them is a couple of blokes with p90's?

I still love the underlying plot and i really enjoyed episode 2 but the stupid and needless fight scenes are too numerous and silly.

That's how I feel about it at the moment. I want to enjoy it but it's really not doing it for me.

That is pretty amazing :)

That episode was incredibly compelling viewing! It just gets better all the time.

Also, that's not how you lay a railroad track! :D
