What do you think of the Wetherspoons/Lloyds No.1 company as a whole?

What words/phrases spring to mind when you think of a Wetherspoons?

What do you think of their customer service? And how do you think it could be improved?

We have 2 in Wigan one is in the town centre its busy and dirty most of the time, plates and glasses left on tables for some time, very cheap and decent pints and bottle lagers

Yep - basically I've started working in a Wetherspoons in Haslemere, and was curious as to what the general public thought of the company, and what their reputation is.

I'm not very happy with some of the responses though, I want to change things.

You've been employed as management?

I've been offered a team leader position, just waiting until i've been there for 3 months to take it. After that its been made clear to me (by the Chairman of the company himself) that I'll be progressing very quickly.

So you are just run of the mill staff at the moment?

How did that conversation transpire may I ask?

At the moment, yes.

The Chairman came in on a visit, and the manager referred him to me to chat.

Sounds like the standard pep talk dynamic companies give all new starters.

Probably, but hey, it inspires me

Plus, I want to progress in the trade, so anything it takes
