Bit of a odd request.

Does any one have any advice on the sizing of them? Also does any one know of any good website to buy them from?

Thanks

Which type are you after? Full length (arms and legs) or shortie? Where and what are you planning on using it for (will help determine the thickness)? How often will you be using it?

They need to be tight but not so tight you cant move, I tried mine on in the shop I bought it from (I know that doesn't help much when buying online). As for where to buy them, if your only using it occasionally and don't want to spend much money you can get cheap ones for around £20 from some of the larger seaside type shops.

If you want one for swimming in - for triathlon for example you really have to get the fit right and that means trying it on. I've got a 2XU C1 wetsuit, it's awesome to swim in. I went down to a lake where the manufacture was having a demo day so I could try on several.

I am after a full length one, it’s for Jet skiing. I’ve been recommended a 3mm one from a mate but not too sure. It’s going to get pretty regular use at weekends when it’s sunny.

I don’t have too many shops around me that’s the only problem as I would like to try it on ideally.

I was going to be around 100 / 200 quid as I may as well get a good one for regular usage. I’ve been looking at the O’Neil / RipCurl ones. However, I am unsure on the size.

yeh get to a shop and get help with the fitting i use a 3/2 in summer or a shorty and a 5/4 titanium in winter (this gets very very warm) went to a shop in Porthtowon and the owner gave me loads of advice

deffo go to a shop to get fitted, buying one online would be suicide..

if you want one for winter & summer use, get one with 5mm body & legs, 3mm arms

5mm on the arms tends to be too restrictive

also, if it's one with the rubber lining around the neck, get a rash vest, or you will be raped in the neck.

any cheapo rash vest (lycra) that covers the neck and comes out of the suit will be fine

btw, I worded that badly, you wouldn't go in and ask to be 'fitted' in a wetsuit

you just ask to try a few on :), just adding that to stop them looking at you like you're some kind of weirdo :D

A mate of mine bought one from Lidl but it was too small, I tried it on and it's a perfect fit

I don't normally entertain tat from Lidl but it looks pretty good for £20 and makes my scuba training in the pool more comfortable
