I've just moved into a new house and am trying to make sure the whole building has WiFi.

Due to the layout of the house and where the cable comes into the building we can't put the router in the middle of the house and give decent coverage across the board, instead it's at one end and we have a very weak signal in the front bedrooms.

I have some D-Link router that came with the Virgin line and a Netgear WG602 v4 that we're borrowing off a friend.

I've got WPA security and everything is running on channel 6.

I've put the MAC address and the security and the channel information into the WG602 correctly and everything should work...except it comes up with this error...

...it seems to think that the router is on channel 4 and not channel 6, I've checked with a few different devices and the router is definitely on channel 6.

Any guesses as to the problem, it's doing my nut in and the guy in the front bedroom is getting annoyed that he has no internet (understandably).
