Well my router has been working well since purchase, this morning however I could not get a wireless connection through my laptop.

LAN connectivity is still functioning ok but when I try to connect wirelessly it throws up that this network requires a network key, now before this morning this had been setup and the profile saved so the laptop would connect automatically.

After inputting the key, windows ( vista home ) would produce an error stating it was not able to conect to the network ( also my brothers ps3 cannot connect also ).

So I went through the usual process, power cycle and then hard reset and then tried resetting the wep key but to no avail.

So I tried removing the security protocol and hey presto I get a wireless connection.

So the issue it seems is using either wep or wpa to secure the network stops any wireless systems ( laptop and ps3 ) to be unable to connect to the network.

Firmware is the lateset version and I have reinstalled the router but to no avail.

Sorry about the long winded post but I am flabbergasted by this issue...any ideas ? I would be much obligied
