Wharfedale 9.1 amp recommendation?

Hi guys.

Need some cheap entry level speakers, looking at the Wharfedale 9.1 as i know they are excellent budget end speakers that punch above their price tag. Can you recommend an amp to pair with them please? They will be used on a gaming PC to provide some sound for my SIM rig. I haven't got space or budget to get an all singing all dancing 5.1 surround setup so wondering if these with an amp would give me an alternative solution.

I find they like a bit of grunt and I prefer a slightly brighter amp with them.

I switched my Marantz 6010 with an AS500 and the difference was pretty great.

As for surround, I have 9.1s hooked up to a Sony STR-DN1040 and impressed with how it sounds for both movie and music.

Cheers. Looks good but way over budget, I probably should have added I've a budget of £300 for speakers and amp.
