What 1060 is this?

Hi.

I bought a Zoostorm PC off a mate and it came with an GTX 1060 6GB. Can anyone tell me what model/make it is because I would like to update the BIOS?





It looks like an ASUS Dual 1060 (DUAL-GTX1060-6G) but the clocks are different on this model than the one specified on the ASUS website. This boosts to 1924 on the GPU core. GPU-Z states the subvendor as Nvidia.

Could it be an Nvidia OEM? Do they make OEM graphics cards?

If it runs fine why update the bios ?

I would like 0db passive mode if an update could bring this. At the moment fans spin at 30% when idle.

I've seen that the Dual ASUS version has a new BIOS that enables this but on closer inspection I don't think my card is the ASUS Dual after all.

It's a Galax card.

That looks like the one thanks. Never heard of them.

Luckily I didn't try and flash the latest ASUS bios then.

They are called KFA2 in the UK (maybe Europe too). They make the "HOF" cards.
