So as it stands i've been pottering around on my vespa et4 just to get to my apprenticeship and back. I've come to the decission that i need something else, but im struggling to find many good bikes around my area for the price, any suggestions atall? I'm not atall picky :)

should have mentioned it needs to be "learner legal" :)

Found a grand total of 2 ybr's in a 60 miles radius of kent, that was using bike trader :p ... ill have a better look when i get home.

My mate picked up a 2007 CBR125R for £850 last month (full history, new tyres, chain, sprockets, brakes etc)

Only thing it didn't have was mirrors..... (now sorted)

You want a 2001 NSR125, Preferably an Italian one, If not then get an English one. Should be able to get one with around 15-18k up it so get one that has had a rebuild in the last couple of thousand.
Last of the 2 stroke 125's & this one is actually reliable, Handles brilliantly & goes well & is good for up to 30k+ miles.

Trust me on this & you'll be happy with it for a fair while, Get a 4 stroke knacker & you'll wonder why you bothered. :p

But unless it's restricted it won't be learner legal...

If you're going to restrict it, you may as well get a four stroke.

A Standard NSR125 is learner legal mate & they Rip up to 80 & feel fast because of the free wheeling 2 stroke engine thingy, Great bikes & the only 125 I'd buy if it was me.

I bet the majority on the market lost their restrictors quite early on. :D

That is a Rumour I do not wish to perpetuate (oo get me with the big words) as I wouldn't want to spoil anybodys fun.
Unrestricted they are good for a ton though. :D The Italian one was never restricted & the English one was mildly restricted where as the French one was Heavily restricted.
