Hey guys,I currently have 2 120hz monitors and i'm selling one of them to help pay towards the 1440p monitor.

I'm keeping one for my XboxOne and buying a 1440P for my PC.

I watch a lot of blurays but i game more than anything to be honest.

I think i have the GPU grunt to handle 1440p 2 gtx 670 overclocked in sli.

Just want to know what monitor to buy?

I've seen some great Asus and Dell monitors that have fantastic reviews.

Any input would be appreciated many thanks :)

The Samsung S27B970D was up for £499 for a few days, then went up to £650. It's not listed on OCUK any more, so looks like they sold that batch Gibbo got for such a good price. Love mine, sweetened by the £499 I paid for it!

After my yellow-cornered fun with the Dell U2713HM, I'd lean towards the Asus PB278Q if I were you. No guarantees though - issues are possible on all panels it seems...

Thanks all for the response's,Can't believe i missed the Samsung monitor for £499 :O

I would have snatched that up if i saw it.

I'll be purchasing on friday,I'll let y'all know what i get.

Many Thanks!

Ive not noticed anything wrong with it.

But I have only played Crysis3 so far.

Sounds great,I was going say i've been on a 5ms TV and for FPS is was a little annoying,But driving games etc it felt great.

To get the monitor to achieve the 1440p resolution do you use a DVI or HDMI cable?

I use Dual link DVI (comes with all the cables).

But it has HDMI, Displayport etc etc.

*dont think HDMI supplies enough bandwidth for 1440p?
