What 2.1 Or 5.1 Speakers?

I got a new PC last week and want some new speakers for it. I would pefer 2.1 but I might get a 5.1 if it is a lot better. But the wires will need to be long for the back 2.

These are the ones I have been looking at.

Logitech Z-4's I can get them for £45.

The Logitech Z-2300 they are around £90. A bit too much tho.

And the Logitech G51's, I can get them for around £80.

I will use them for normal use like Internet, music and gaming.

The cheaper the better but if the Z-2300's are really good then I might get them.

i'd bought two sets of 100 quid speakers before getting these, was devastated to have wasted that money when i got them, seriously, just wait a month and get them.

What 2 £100 speakers did you buy and what did you get later on the Z-5500?
 
I'd get the £90 2.1 Logitechs if they're mainly for music. Can I throw the Altec Lansing MX5021's into the ring? Superb 2.1 speakers. For all round use, i'd also save for the Logitech 5.1's for just under £200.
