I just ordered a OC extreme performance rig, with gtx295, and have realised that it would be ridiculous for me to stick with my current 19" HPw1907v as it doesn't have DVI and the max res is 1440by900.

I am looking to spend about £200-£250. I am very tempted to go for the Samsung T240 but would appreciate some thoughts. Thx.

I have the Dell 2408WFP and it is highly recommended

Not quite in the £250 range, I have a Dell E248WFP and to be fair I'm not that impressed.

I also bought a Samsung T240HD 24" Widescreen LCD Freeview Monitor for £275 I haven't tried in on my PC though as it was bought for a TV.
All I can say about it was no dead pixels and the picture looks fine. The sound is awful though.

I called OC earlier and added a Samsung T240 24" to my order! It is the non-freeview one for £250 and I don't mind about the sound as I'll be using separate 5.1 speakers. The OC guy on the phone really couldn't stress to me enough how good they think the T240 is. He almost refused to let me select any of the other Samsungs lol.

Picked up the T240HD for £200 last week. Seriously impressed by this tv / monitor. Not tried the freeview, but certainly happy with the picture and the viewing angles are fine (facing one seat on the sofa, but can easily watch moves on any of the seats!

iv just this minute picked up a Dell G2410 24" from another retailer for just over £250. I considered all the Dell monitors carefully but decided that this offered the best mix of size and quality. It doesnt have HDMI but then I dont need that, and it has no sound jacks or usb ports but i dont need them either! It has really nice deep blacks and clean whites. Definitely good value for money. Oh its 1920 x 1080 16:9 resolution.

Just picked up a Samsung T240 from OCUK today, very pleased with the picture quality standard picture settings seem very bright however, a little messing was needed to get it as i like.

No ghosting to report in games.
