Got a refund for my borked 7990 so I'm leaning towards the r290 Vapor x. Tri-x is a bit cheaper obviously but the vapour chamber is pushing me more towards the Vapor x version for a bit better temps hopefully. :)
 
right now best deal on 290 is the PCS+ it equals if not better than the tri-x cooler....its slightly shorter; but is a 3 slot cooler......:) at 270......its not quite giving them away like the 199 tri -x......but my god its pretty damn close

PCS+ is the only one leaving the factory with hot glue on the vrms in attempt to stop possible coil whine too asfaik, VapourX is voltage locked, great cooler but it would be bottom of the list.
 
Isn't it annoying how you always seem to order something at the end of the week? Forcing you to wait all weekend. :D

I hope you get a good one. My Vapor I sent back won't be received until tomorrow. So looking at end of next week I'm guessing before I can order a new one. :(

Even if id ordered Thursday morning it would be Monday or so before I got it, for some reason 24hr delivery to Belfast hasn't been an option for quite some time now.
