What 30 series card for a 650 power supply

A 3070 is the highest I would go on a 650w psu. Power consumption of these latest gpu's is just ridiculous. Components should be getting more power efficient and for a time were, not sucking more power.

The just released Cyberpunk 2077 is the most demanding game out there now, reviewers are comparing it to Crysis back in its prime. A 3070 will run the former game at 1440p with ray tracing on, so it should run any other game at that resolution.

I got a new PC today with 3070 - notably better than 2070 Super and is great 1440 UW. High settings with RT on on CP is easily 60FPS

Thanks guys ill look for 3070 when they are available and have a good Christmas day

I run a 3090 @ 1440 on a 850w.
It draws just over 500w at the wall on Cyberpunk and that includes a monitor, speakers and the router.
You could easily go for a 3080 if you wanted too.

I'm running a 3080 and OC'd 5820K on a Superflower Leadex 650W at the moment without issue. I've not had any crashes running the 3080 at stock but I usually use an undervolt curve cause the efficiency gains are ridiculous.
