What I thought would be a rubbish weekend – as I found my MOT had run out on the 3rd of May (last rode on the 5th – doh!), I thankfully managed to get the bike in to Unity Road Motorcycles in Bristol, for an MOT on Saturday; top blokes there btw.

I then had a bit of a bimble on Saturday, seeing friends etc, before a lovely big (ish) ride yesterday – rode out to Porlock in Devon, via Glastonbury then headed back towards Minehead, and then peeled off down the A396 through Exmoor – brilliant road! A few summertime ice patches here and there, worryingly on some corners too, but a nice mixture of fast open sections and slower twisties, and there was a beautiful sweeping right-hander in there too; I think it was about 25 miles long (not the right-hander :p).

Now I’m back in work :( But at least it’s rainy today :)

Damn, wished I lived somewhere nearer the coast, West Midlands here....not quite the same scenery riding round Brum.......
Never even got my bike out this weekend...how bad is that, seeing the weather we had.
Nice pics btw.....did you go out on your own? (no other bike in shot)....I just can't be @**** riding on my own...get bored.

Yeah, rode solo this weekend - most of my biking buddies aren't available when I am, or get sozzled on a Saturday so are over the limit for a Sunday ride :D

I don't mind riding solo tbh, that's where most of my time is spent, always have a chin wag with bikers when I stop though, so I don't feel like a complete billy no mates - it's handy too, as you can stick to a pace without feeling a need to catch up with others.

As for GIT - I am, a massive one, I had a brilliant weekend clad in leather thanks :D
