What a croc of.....(PICS)

I was reading mrsix's thread and it got me opening all my holiday pics from my trip to Gambia last November.

Whilst there, myself and my friend thought we would do the man thing and go see some Crocs . When we arrived at the park, I immediately thought I should have brought with me a spare pair of Boxers as you can see below.

The guide told us to stroke them from the neck down becasue if you stroke their heads, they will take your hand off. Oh great!!!

They feed these Crocodiles on Bongo fish and have done since birth, hence the distance you can get to them. I was amazed at how close I could get to them but always had the thought in the back of my mind that it doesn't matter how much Bongo Fish you throw at a Croc, they still eat meat

Wow! Amazing pics :) I'd love to do this.

It cost all of £2 to walk around the park which took roughly 45 mins. You needed the guide as there was all other types of reptiles around that you really did not want to meet face to face including snakes, lizards and these puppies (Monitor Lizards). This one was over 6 foot in length and a strike from its tail could apparently take your foot clean off your ankle

Jesus Mary & Joseph alf

Now thats Darwin styleee!!!

We had arrived just after the crocs had been fed and apparently for a small fee, you can join the locals and feed them but we missed that.

We did think about coming back the next day to do it but realised that the Holiday Insurance just wasn't cut out for this.

Oh and........

Can a mod please change the title of the thread to:
