Spent all day faffing around with the MAF on my car, first getting the part, then getting the tools to fit it!

It totally transformed the car, the engine revs really easily and motorway overtaking has become a lot easier, on the way home I was on a dual carriageway, my exit came up so mirror, signal mirror, started moving over onto the slip road, looked up and just a fraction of a second too late I saw a brick, that's right a ******* brick! ended up going over it, bent the alloy, destroyed the eagle F1 and probbably knocked the tracking out totally :(

Luckily I was just next to costco, so didn't have to take the Jack out and the spanner, they swapped it for the spare and balanced it for £2.
Is it possible to repair these types of damage to alloys?

it's really dependant on the specific damage, but bear in mind i've seen alloys repaired that were a total mess beforehand so you might be in luck.

the way i look at this is "It COULD have been worse" anyway sorry to hear that mate hope it gets sorted.
Yeah I am lucky
a) it didn't hit the rear wheel as well, otherwise I would have been extremely annoyed.
b) I was near costco, so I didn't have to freeze my *** off waiting for RAC or doing it myself with a lame ass jack.

Costco are so friendly I can't ever see any other place doing that for £2.

Whilst it is possible, I'd be inclined to ask is it really a wise move?

From a safety point of view, I'd replace the wheel if I were you.
