Just swapped out the original Corsair fans on my AIO's (one on each 980Ti) with some Noctua NF-F12, wish I'd done it earlier, so much quieter and the same temps, maybe even cooler. I think at the next GPU upgrade I'll add them to the water loop though.

You seem to be grasping at straws.
Reality is a year is long long time in computer industry. ;)

The point is your claim

Is a misrepresentation of the facts and the way you presented it is a lie. This is proven by what is said in link you provided. :p

The problem coolers were made, distributed and sold last year. Problem was identified and resolved. No more significant problems that I have seen.

From your link.

Not a lie I really did hear that.
Andi.

Doyll, did you get out of the bed the wrong side of the bed this morning? Not sure I actually posted a link. So my statement is true I did hear that EKWB have had many leak issues.

I don't think I even said which AIO I had swapped the fans on so they could have been EKWB as far as you know your first response was pretty much foot in mouth.

Anyway I suggest you chill a bit, it's not worth getting stressed about, all I wanted to point out here is that Noctua quiet fans are much quieter and therefore better as I've used them.
Andi.

Noctua fans are very good, I changed the small 60mm I think fan in my Thrustmaster T500 wheel and now I cant hear it when it kicks in, the fan I took out was noisy, the blades were thinner and it would drone on and on for ages after I had finished with my wheel, I did drill a few small vent holes as well so that helps getting rid of the warm air, the Noctua blades were a lot wider so must shift more air, I've read a few times that the colour scheme of the Noctua fans put people off using them a bit where they can be seen.

Yes mine are creamish with brown edges, not such a good look in my all white (nearly) PC.

Without supporting data I don't know if you did or did not misrepresent the facts. I can only say based on a quick google search of "EK Predator leaks" I cannot find enough hits to show a significant number of leaks. I only find three hits dated between 13-15 Jan 2016 and today, and one of those appears to be the same 360 linked above.

If you want to prove you did not misrepresent the truth, post supporting data that shows a significant number of EK Predators leaking besides the original release models.

All I said was that I had heard EKWB AIO's leaked a lot given nothing specific there and that I 'had' heard it, I am not a lier. If I defined 'a lot' would that appease you.
Andi.

BTW you can't just add in the early versions people still having leaks up to 1.1C.

Doyll, you really can't call me a liar for what I said, it wasn't untrue, EKWB AIO have had 'lots' of leaks reported, they recalled ALL their 1.0 versions and have had leaks reported on version 1.1 up to variant C. They may be better than other manufacturers but I am not a liar.
Andi.

Are you trying to say what we say in a court of law needs to be more truthful than what we publically tell others face to face, on the phone or on the internet?

Truthful statements are just as important here as in a court of law or anywhere else!

It was not untrue!
Andi.

As someone said earlier it's not a court of law here, just a friendly chat. You can spout as much as you like I had heard the EKWB AIO suffered lots of leaks, prove they didn't! I'm innocent pal.
Andi.

As already said earlier, ommission of facts changes context of statement for true to false.

Sure, facts are facts and can easily be used to mislead, especially when only a small amount are presented. ;)

Now you are just clutching at verbage, can't you get a real life view?
Andi.

Can't have a 'real life view' with only 'lots of leaks' and no data or number showing how many 'leaks' there are and now many Predators in use.

Kinda like trying to have a real world look of 'lots of stuff.' :p

Yes you can, real life isn't all about specific detail, sometimes it's about generalisation and approximation. Like "99 red balloons" and "Nine Million Bicycles". You don't need to be so precise, we all know precise rules tend to be useless.
Andi.

Ah! the courts where, I understand, so much talk makes so much money trying to twist peoples words. Not trying to find out the truth just a different definition :D
