As some of you know and are fed up hearing I am looking for a new car, ell today I have finally driven one.

A very nice man from GT4oc drove 80miles to take me for a drive in his motor and then threw me the keys, still smiling now. (drove it like a granny though) :o

Needless to say I am in love and can't wait to get one. I am also off soon with my dad to a place in Blackburn that fix them and will get taken out in a few more. It is nice to know there are nice people still out there willing to help. :)

should have asked at the RR, would have took out out in the MR2, not quite the same but its more or less the same engine. :p

It was wet I valued my life. ;) :p

Tbh I have never sat in a GT4 let alone driven one and it wasn't a disappointment.

Lucky guy!

Nice to know there is some nice people out there!

Wont forget the bright yellow one i got a shot in,as mentioned in your older threads.

There is an ugly silver one with 3 spokes at my work though, doesnt have the riser blocks for the spoiler painted either. :(

Great! Blackburn eh? Never heard of such a place myself. Not many places to give them a proper test near BBurn unless you head my way, towards Whalley and Clitheroe over the back roads.

The Internet is great. Lots of nice local peeps on the CTR forum. Going to meet a few on Sunday at a show at Bolton Abbey.

I let a guy take my MK1 MR2 out to get a feel, although he drove to mine.

Met him once before when he turned up to an MR2 meet in his Volvo.

3 spokes were the old stock wheels and the riser blocks were never colour coded :p

Happens quite a lot on car forums.

Yeah seems on the specialist forums you find super enthusiasts willing to go overboard to help people. Makes a nice change. Not a digg at OCUK btw as this place is very similar. :)

Well the one i had a shot in was all over yellow, nice rims and huge brakes. The guy looks after it like its his baby.

Heres a pic of the one i was talking about earlier,he seems to have added new wheels.

For an M reg its in no bad condition.....the interior looks lovely(full black leather)..

Looked like some nice 4 pots ont he front and 2 pots on the back,is that correct?

Yeah both with 318mm disks iirc, you can buy some nice bolt on bits for the body to make it look meaner and more interesting. eg, (not quite to my taste).
