What a waste!

How much would you be talking for something like that? £10k? £100k?

I wouldn't know, but I do know that good examples of that model with 100K miles on go for about £40K and Bramley have cars advertised up to about £475K before they put P.O.A. on as a guide.

Not really a waste, it's nice to have some prestine examples such as these so that they can be seen in the same quality they were 20+ years ago, something which most people will never see in their lives.

There's more than enough modified classic 911's driving about for it to be more than reasonable to keep some in this kind of condition.

I know the guys at Bramely quite well too, and regularly go and visit and indeed they do always have an amazing selection of cars.
A friend of mine actually bought his DB9 Volante there 18 months ago, and like the OP, this one only had 300 miles on the clock. The original owner bought it with his pension fund, but quickly realised his stupidity and sold it!

A couple of recent ones stories from Bramley stand out:
A wealthy banker who wanted to stand out from his mates at their shooting trips decided to buy their DB5 Shooting Break (similar to this one), at about £300k, that's quite some toy.

Again, similar to the OP, they recently had a 300mile BMW 735, 3 years old with all the toys. He told me that it was bought to drive the owner around, but was simply never used.

There are loads of people like this.

Interesting. There are a few cars around like this. I have an engineering friend in Shifnal who owns an e36 325i in red, 1996 registered thats covered 19 miles. He bought it new, put it in his garage and simply hasn't used it. Some perishable parts need refreshing but whilst it isn't a 911 turbo it's fun to look at.

I'd like to see some pics of that (or, perhaps the car itself!) some time. :)
