Hi,

My current adsl router has died on me so I need a new adsl wireless router. What ones are the best to go for right now? Only need a g rated wireless as everything is on that. Don't really have a budget but I do not want to spend more than I need to to get a reliable router. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

A lot of people like the Netgear DG834G/GT/N because they are pretty reliable and perform well and you can find isp versions quite cheap on ebay which just need to be reflashed with original firmware.

Got the Linksys WRT54GS here, it's pretty stable, standard firmware and left powered on 24/7...

I Use one of these for wireless only but very stable, put tomato on it and you get even more toys to play with. Note that it has an Ethernet WAN port, and thus you will need to buy an Ethernet ADSL modem to connect the line to it. They're usually cheap tho and separating the modem and router electronics is never a bad thing. Linksys AM200 would be an example of such a modem but really it depends what your budget dictates, Ethernet is an open standard so any modem will work.

You want a Netgear DG834Gt.
Flash it with the latest DGTeam firmware.(if you like tinkering.)
Works well on long lines. , and is very stable.
