What age are you when you do work experience?

I was 16 when I did mine.

Spent the week at a solicitors office moving boxes & organising files during the hottest week of the summer.

What a great experiance of the world of law

and then again when I was 16/17 at college (got to spend 2 weeks at IBM :D)

You sound way too excited about that tbh :p

Did it in the 4th/5th year of highschool, so I'd have been around the 15/16 mark.

It was great too. Computer department of the Michelin

Jesus, that was a long way for you to go.
I did my Apprenticeship there in 74 to 78.

The NHS Young Apprentices start work experience (placements) at 14.

Had mine at 16 for an insurance firm. Felt like I was just the errand boy printing dossiers and organising files for people who were too lazy to do it themselves. Learnt nothing about insurance procedures and it completely put me off working in an office.
