PC build? I was working in a local IT business building PCs and servers when I was 15

First build by myself was a few years before that.

I was doing basic at 10... bit of a geek, up in the attic... loved seeing what I created but a right pain to debug, I guess thats why I'm so happy that its a lot easier these days!

Depends what you consider 'programming' though. When I was less than 10 my mum used to make games for the Commodore VIC20 (BASIC), and I'd do a few lines here and there, but nothing more than to make the computer do a few bleeps, or something equally dull.

First build totally from scratch was in 2001 (I was 27) although I had been upgrading and tinkering for a while before then. It was a Duron 800MHz, 512MB RAM and GeForce2 MX.
