I'm planning on modding a server case to fit two seperate computers inside.

I don't have any fans yet and i'm on the look out for some good'ens

How much airflow, CFM do i actually need?

I saw some yateloon, 88CFM // 38DBA for £4.
Then you have the delta 190CFM // 59 DBA for £17

What fans do you have + setup, pictures would be nice / diagrams.

:)

4x Yate Loons = £16 and total ~360cfm
2x Delta = £34 and total ~380cfm

I have the stock antec fans and three cheap ones I bought on Ebay and it keeps my Q6600 at around 35 deg C

Ideally you want it to be quiet, but have positive air pressure in the case to stop dust settling.

Will either of the computers be overclocked? Sorting the air flow will be a nightmare I'd imagine with two complete machines in there.

Unless you can more clearly specify the case layout and components going in about your only option is to overspecify on fans then undervolt them until temperatures become an issue. I'd suggest scythe s-flex 1600rpm as I'm fond of them, but pretty much any "decent" fan will do just fine as a case fan.

Machine one:

Dual core 2.8GHz
4GB ram
1 HDD
1 DVD drive
PCI-E GPU (8400GS)
2 PCI cards

Second:
1.8GHz (single)
1GB RAM
1 HDD
1 DVD Drive
1 AGP Card (9200LE)
1 PCI card

I think i've narrowed it down to 3.

Yate loon D12SH-12;
CFM-88
DBA-38
Price-£4

Scythe Kaze Juni 1900RPM;
CFM-110
DBA-37
Price-£7

I can put 4 on my fan controller.

It's more the case I meant. "Modified server case" doesn't say anything very much. Those are fairly low power systems though, so the standard of one/two fans front, bottom and one/two top, back is probably the way to go.

I think pretty much any fans would do, the yate loons are the favourites for cheap ones. If the heatsinks involved are passive it'll be worth arranging some form of ducting inside the case, as otherwise it's likely to be a large void with fairly slow airflow through it.

That is the case, I know because I co-designed the motherboard placements with him :p.
