What album/artists are a MUST buy?

Off to Virgin tomorrow to spend Christmas vouchers and I am asking myself which albums should I buy. I say, why think for myself when there are so many people on the forum who'd do the dirty work of thinking for me...

So - suggest a few albums, regardless of era that are simply MUST BUYs i.e. express a musical, songwriting

Antipop Consortium - Arrrrhythmia!
Leftfield hiphop. Fantastic.
