Hi

I have a
- Sony 403EX LCD
- Sony BDP370 Bluray
- BT Vision box

I also have a rather naff Sharp soundbar which I'm about to launch out of the window. I'm far from an audiophile and require something marginally better than my TV speakers.

What can i get for 100-150 to supplement my setup that is very small and discrete (not amp + bookshelves)?

Cheers!

At £249 for the Sony you're so close to what it costs for a proper all-singing all-dancing AV surround system it would be a crime to chuck more good money after bad.

There are full HD-audio decoding amps from Sony and Onkyo starting at £179. There's even a Yamaha which has HDMI pass-through and DD & DTS decoding for a bit less if the pennies are tight. Add a set of 5.1 speakers for around £100 and you'll have spent £250-£280 on something really worth buying.

Agreed:D Best to go for the seperates system seeing as you are sooooo close, you really would regret buying an all in one, they are ALL crap...No exceptions!!
If funds are tight why not consider buying second hand?
You could end up with a fantastic bargain to boot.
