What all round security software shall i use?

i bought kaspersky for my new rig (in sig) will post how i like it. once i have the pc should before friday

I have seen this Kaspersky software popping up all over the place, Is it really that good? it seemed to suddenly hit the market?

Been using it for over 10 years now. Try asking some computer users (not enthusiasts) to name 5 anti-virus programs, then watch as they struggle to name even 3.
