What am I best upgrading first?

Hi, so I currently have a prebuilt gaming pc.

My specs are:
  • AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7GHz
  • 16GB RAM, 2TB HDD, 1TB SSD
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8GB
  • ASUS Prime B550M-K
  • Seagate FireCuda 510 1TB M.2 2280 NVMe & Seagate 2TB BarraCuda
  • 16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz (2x8GB)
I'm looking definitely to make it more powerful, but I'm stuck on what I need to get first? And obviously make sure new components fit.

Thanks in advance,
Lewis.

What do you use the PC for exactly? Assuming at least gaming, but which games and at what resolution/refresh rate?

What exact power supply do you have in your PC?

What sort of budget do you have?

I guess a Ryzen 5700x3d, 32gb of memory and say an rtx 5070 or RX 9070 when they're available would be a decent set of upgrades at around £850 (assuming the gpus turn out to be ok once reviewers get a look). Need all the information Gray has asked for to say for sure what actually makes sense for you though.

Tbh I'd only really bother upgrading if you're finding it struggles with certain things, or you can't play the games you want on settings you're happy with etc. If it's not actually causing you any issues then no point in upgrading just for the sake of it.
