shimy182, I neveer did A level or GCSE electronics... I was once given a 200+ page service manual for a 48K spectrum (i had the +4S version along with 2 128K +2B's and one 128K +3 with the 3" floppy drive) I read it cover to cover and I under stood 90% of the system scamatic (even though I can never spel it right)

I'm using a pair of processors because one will be a main processor and the other one will handle math, IO and anything else I can off load to it...

8 DAC's with power fets - liniar power control
i'm hoping to have it done for xmas...
So, how creative can you be with what it's going to be for....
I currently have a few problems to get around....
1) How do I get the 'operating system' onto the flash / eproms....
2) need to re-learn nmonics / machine code (can't remember how to spell it)
3) find data sheets for the ram I got... and hope they 5V not 3.3V...
4) get vista to run on this...
