Hi, Looking at 4K monitors but there are so many, all with different numbers for different things. What are the important things and what should I be looking for?
Ahh thats one thing I actually want to avoid. Seems mad but If I spent a lot on a good monitor with sync then I would feel "locked in" to buying a specific brand of GPU. I never want that to happen.
For example, in the next 9 months I'll be looking to buy either a Vega card or a 1080Ti. I've no idea which at this stage, so buying a brand "locked" monitor seems mad.
If you are looking for colour accuracy and great viewing angles, then do try to pick up a IPS panel. Make sure its 60hz as initially a few 30hz 4k panels were also kicking around.
