Just got my new laptop and trying to connect to the office VPN through wireless via home WAG54G Ver2.

I can acquire a network connection (I'm using WPE), signal strength is excellent but it shows limited or restrictive connectivity - which basically means none at all :(

Any ideas?

Limited or no connectivity == couldn't find a DHCP server.
Could be the WEP didn't work properly or something.

hmmmm, looking at the network connection details it shows no details for default gateway, DNS Server or WINS Server.

I'll try a different WEP key.

Cheers

No, that's not working either. Will speak to our IT Manager in the morning.

Thanks for suggestions :)

Try disabling WEP key, MAC address access lists, anything like that.
It sounds like an issue between the laptop and your wireless network, nothing to do with the VPN (though some VPN clients can cause...issues).

Okay, so I disable WEP and I can get access but then my wifi is not secure? I've got my HTPC downstairs connecting via WEP no problem. Maybe try again with WEP key.

EDIT - I'm a fanny, must remember to disable ISA Server in future  :p Thanks for the suggestions Tolien :)
