what anti virus are we using now

Hi in the past i think i tries them all bar norton, but in this day and age i have just been running with windows security, so what are we all using ?

Windows built in if you are reasonable sensible - if not (like my Kids/Wife) then ESET has been fantastic, and add in something like PiHole or Adguard Home to block a large amount of "bad" domains as well.

Eset now there's a old favourite, don't see kaspersky mentioned anymore, when i was younger i would go to any site and hope for the best as i didn't have anything on the pc but now it has a lot more personal stuff so more careful now

Avast free and Glasswire firewall (paid for with built in AV activated).

Haven't had a virus in years with that combo.

Malwarebytes is installed for occasional testing.

Windows Defender is good enough for almost everyone. I say this as someone who actively plays with malware and has to turn defender off all the damn time because it keeps deleting my toys!

I tend to recommend Eset (just the AV not the whole security suite, less of a system resource drag) to people who ask, for me Windows does enough.

Bit defender but I have a 10 user licence so all the pcs/servers in the house have it. Peace of mind and works out to be decent value for money.
