Need a bandwidth scheduler!

I want to limit my bandwidth just for an hour or so each day so I can avoid VirginMedia's STM policy and having my bandwith capped for the subsequent 5 hours. Is there an app that can do this for me?

I have a Linksys WRT54GL router with the DD-WRT 2.3 firmware. Does any other firmware have this ability built in? With DD-WRT 2.3 I can prevent internet access at certain times but I just want to limit it not stop it all together.

Most routers have bandwith throttling/handling built in dont they? i'd take a look first.

Just remember to not get stm'd (if your downloading/torrenting) you need to keep your connection at 1.33Mbit during the STM hours (or set at 120KB/s to be safe)

The DD-WRT are pretty good firmware and I've upgraded to the stable 2.4 and checked but nothing to limit the bandwidth at certain times is there.

It's the upload STM that I want to avoid. Once you go over 1400MB between 3 and 8 then that's it. With an average of 93 KB/s that means I can upload around 330MB in an hour. So if I can limit the upload for just one hour then I can avoid the STM from 8pm to 1 am!

I've been searching hard for this but still can't find an app to do this, there must be one somewhere, anybody with any experience?
