what are direct line like with modification?

think about some doing some stuff to my car, main thing for the near future is lowering, does anybody know what direct line are like when it comes to mods?

Most big named insurance firms will hate you if you have a car with mods and charge you a fortune for them. Its better to try one of the specialist firms that deal with modified cars.

Insurance never gets any cheaper, as you get older you'll want more power. (I did anyway)

I paid £500 on my Fiesta 1.1 third party only when I passed my test. I now pay the same on a 206 GTI fully comp.

Its the standard gti , the Gti180 was an extra £4k for 40bhp so I didnt bother.

they won't insure anyone under 25 with mods afaik. I tried. Had to go to NUD in the end.

This is very interesting - Would this apply for a young driver with a mk4 golf with alloys?

Had no problem adding alloys and a spoiler with them last time, they have no issue covering my audio install or changes to the MX either and i'm 24.

It was Martin who gave me the good quote on my chevette after a bit of haggling. HIC are very good on mods, anything as long as the power doesn't increase is free and I think you can put the power up 10% for free too. You do have to pay a £20 or so admin fee though.
