What are my cabling options?

It's messy and also sometimes difficult to work out what's going where without lots of jiggery pokery.

There are so many cables that I'd like to change to be more flexible, the USB 3 cable from the front panel, the power cables to the graphics card..I've got some cable tidying to do anyway but I'm a bit loathed to cable tie things up from experience.

Or...am I just being a tad too anal?

It's a Corsair Carbide 500R.

That's some nice pointers, appreciate it.

When you say under and over to the GPU do you mean between the surface with the PCIE slot and the case ie the side that sits against the expansion slot (sorry if I can't explain very well)? Do I not need to worry about heat from the graphics card?

Annoyingly the cable on the fan at the back isn't long enough to route up and behind the motherboard tray. Might try and find one that is.

there will be space between case and gpu, on the picture below the gpu i marked a cable tie location.
