What are my options?

Hi all

Decided its time to downsize my current monitor, which is a 32" HDTV, far too big for gaming at around a meter and a half away.

Its been absolutely years since I've purchased a monitor, and I honestly don't have a clue what I'm looking for, I hear things like IPS, TN, along with high refresh rates left to the high end 3D monitors.

So what I'm looking for as a basic is:

23 or 24 inch
*Internal speakers
Great for gaming
£250 absolute max, the less the better
120hz if possible, I have the GPU power so why cap it down to 60 all the time? not ruling 60hz out at all though, budget is far more important.

*I'm quite stuck for room, so keeping the speakers internal on the monitor would be a big plus, though if anyone can recommend a good monitor/speaker combo its something I would look at, but would have to all fall under budget.

Ok so I THINK I have settled on the Asus vg236he, can pick one up for around £220 (OCuk don't stock these anymore?) and I'll get some speakers over the weekend.

Anyone used one of these or similar monitors? I've spent literally hours over the last few days trying to decide what to get. Primary use is going to be 2D 120hz, 3D doesn't interest me at all.

Any positive or negative info is welcome, or some alternate recommendations, want to hit that buy button asap so I can have a new toy to play with on sat

Edit: also does this come with a dual link DVI cable? Don't want to get caught short and not be ready
