Hi all

After setting up my new RAM manually in my BIOS (5-4-4-15 2T), both CPUZ and Everest are reporting them at 6-6-6-18. Are they both wrong or is it just that the mobo isnt reporting the correct timings or is the RAM indeed at 6-6-6-18? The mem is OCZ 4gb(2x2gb) sli ready pc6400 cas5

Thanks

Looks like no one has a clue LOL. If I set the timings in bios to AUTO, CPUZ still says 6-6-6-18 but memtest has errors and windows crashes with a hardware failure error. Set to 5-4-4-15 in bios makes everything stable but still CPUZ says 6-6-6-18

I think I only had it at certain clocks, it may even have been on the Striker II not (as I said I cant remember).

I just moved above that clock and it was fine.

1503 is a POS, it will not remember Settings inc FSB/RAM and possibly Timings, it does remember Voltages etc.

I was one of lucky ones that could overclock on it when I flashed but after I was done gaming I set back to stock (no need for 4GHZ for surfing) then next time I tried to OC I couldnt, it reset to stock every reboot thats FSB 1333 and Memory 800mhz.

This is all over the Asus Forums and you can sort it with Bios 1504.

Yes at least it aint broken and remembers settings, I dont have much choice as I need newer ones for E8500 after getting rid of Striker II POS.

Even the NIC works after Sleep/Hybrid Sleep (that was another bug before on many Asus Mobos)
