What are Nvidia putting in their drivers these days?

Why the blazes is it so large?

Universal feature set to enable the full Nv Experience-pretty sure vast majority of PC gamers aren't enthusiasts and due to the never ending 'drivers are crap' they must get, they make the process as pain free as possible.

Don't install/unpack everything if it's an issue:

Manually extract (using 7-zip or similar) the following folders Display Driver, HDAudio, NV12 and PhysX along with the following files EULA.txt, ListDevices.txt, setup.cfg and setup.exe. Then just run setup.exe to install. No more bloatware, no more geforce experiance and no more telemetry.

The dynamic gimping algorithms Nvidia use to punish anyone below Pascal are the reason for this.

Think of a virtual Jensen Huang inside your GPU, deciding whether or not you’ve invested enough in Nvidia to deserve good frame rates.
