What are peoples essential programs?

Firefox, Diskeeper, Foobar2000, MSN, Xfire, Steam, Crap Cleaner, VLC, uTorrent, mIRC, SmartFTP

These are the bare essentials. The rest comes as and when needed.

Drivers & updates - at this point I do a true image, Kaspersky internet security, PS-CS2, Ilustrator CS2, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, (all actions & filters and commands for the deisgn apps) Acrobat pro, Snagit8, FlashFXP, Office 2007, perfectdisk, ccleaner, adaware, winzip, winrar, autoroute, memorymap, objectdock... etc etc and then do a final true image of the lot
