I recently bought a new Macbook and I am looking for some free VPN's that work with mac Os.

    I come across a list here: https://gadgetgang.com/5-best-free-vpns-for-mac-os/

To be honest I am totally new to all this VPN stuff and I know posts like this can be a bit misleading.

Could anyone point out a totally free VPN that will work with my macbook?

I've got a TunnelBear account which gives 500MB free data, and up to 1GB extra if you tweet them.

For their unlimited account they've just had a Halloween sale which makes the cost for a year around $50 (£38) or £3.20 a month.

Very good MacOS and iOS app for switching countries and you can try it for free by creating an account. I don't need one, but I thought I'd see what the fuss was about and was pleasantly surprised :).

    Another vote for Tunnel Bear.

EVH has done a typo, the tweet gives you 1GB per month ;)

    Any will work.

Some may not have software that works on a mac, if so use something like Tunnelblick instead.

NordVPN, just paid $89 for 3 years. Works on all devices too.

My vote goes for PureVPN which is listed in the mentioned above link. I use it mainly to access Netflix US.

Tip: You can get its lifetime offer this cyber week which is £1.03/month which is mentioned here https://www.purevpn.com/order

Damn it, I just paid $107 /£84 for 3 years with their 'usual' 75% off, although I did go through topcashback which is tracking £46 cashback.. so if that comes through, it's pretty cheap! Software is easy to use as well
