Looking at setting up triple monitor display, what are your suggestions on what to go for?

Hopefully something thin bezel if possible, budget around £1000 for all 3, with a stand would be good.

Not that interested in 3D, though I wouldn't be averse to it either, but not at the expense of the monitors normal non-3d display.

Most likely going with tri-fire 7970 cards if that makes a difference.

Thanks a lot.

I dont know what you need exactly, But make sure you get monitors with display port connections
and get the master 7970 (one you will connect monitors to) that has 3 displayport outputs.

Will make life easy

i would not overly worry to much about the thickness of the bezels as you dont realy notice them when gaming, i know it sounds odd but its true, good quality monitors are more important imo

That limits your choices greatly and wouldn't recommend it unless you're looking for 120Hz displays.
What are you looking for other than a thin bezel? An IPS screen with great viewing angles, a 120Hz screen, size, etc?

Thanks for the replys.

And to be honest I am not sure exactly what I am looking for, I havn't bought a monitor in years and I am way behind in tech.

Basically 3 monitors for triple display, for around a grand, maybe looking at something over 1080, maybe 1400? I will be running 3 7970 in tri-fire like I say so think I can go a bit bigger maybe?

Are the ones I've been looking at. 120Hz, 3D (not that I'm interested in that either) and look as if they have thin bezels. Great customer reviews too.

The top end graphics cards have 3x DVI-D ports on them.

Those look really nice, 120hz as well, but only 1920x1080 I was thinking of going a bit bigger maybe? or would something bigger be asking too much of my graphics set up?

Why 3 7970s in Tri Fire? Seems overkill for pretty much anything I can think of.

Want to be able to use 3 decent sized monitors, maybe in 120hz? if it can do it, and max the graphics out.

Had this discussion in another thread though, have the PC build sorted now, just need to figure out the monitors.

If you're looking for a resolution above 1920x1200 or a refreshrate of 120Hz then what Diagro posted does indeed make sense. Displayport to dual-link DVI displayport adapters are quite pricey.

What do you consider decent sized? High resolutions are only found on 27 and 30" displays although 30" x3 would be outside the budget. 120Hz you get to pick from 23", 24" and 27".

AOC have just released a 27" IPS LED Monitor the 27" AOC I2757FM which looks to have really thin bezels for about £230, don't know how good it is as just released and haven't seen any decent reviews yet.

Downsides I can see are only 60hz, and only has 2xHDMI & D-Sub connections but being IPS it should be a crisp screen with decent viewing angles.

The Samsung S27A950D has thin bezels but cannot be VESA mounted so no stand for three monitors.
The bezels on the Samsung S27A750D are slighty bigger but the monitor is a bit cheaper (OCUK doesn't seem to be selling either atm - strange as they are very popular monitors and they had them before). Do make sure you get a 7970 with 3 displayport connections with the S27A750D.

All other options seems to have rather thick bezels.
