What are some of the best WiFi Extenders?

We have the BT Hub 3 and it's wifi range is awful. I would like to get a WiFi Extender for it to reach into the garden.

any help finding a good cheap extender?

Imho extenders are generally hash. Look into better wifi router with a central position in your house. Wifi extenders need to be placed close to the original router to be effective, so the distance travelled is still poor. What I did was hard wire a modded old adsl router and got that to broadcast it's own wifi. 2 different signals, but a repeater does that anyway.

How about homeplugs from the HH3, to another cheap router to broadcast it's own wireless to the garden?

All you will need to do is disable DHCP on the secound router, and if you want the wireless to be the same name as the HH3, make sure it's set to a different channel. You will need to turn off the auto channel selection on the HH3 though.

This would be much better than a wifi extender, I always found they add a fair bit of latency to the connection.
