I only know Telewest/Virgin to be the providers of DSL, anyone know any other company that provides it?
Wizard Keyaz said:What I am saying is, with ADSL you need a phone line to connect where as DSL you don't need a phone line
Phemo said:Erm, ADSL is a form of DSL, as is SDSL, VDSL etc. All DSL types require a phone line
Everyone that has ADSL has to pay an annual BT phone line subscriptionWizard Keyaz said:The reason I ask this is, with Virgin you can call them up and they can just connect the Cable for there modem without the need of actually having a phone line as the cable is the connection.
As I don't wan't to pay additional money for the phone line.
Thats what I mean, I refuse to do business with Virgin so I guess I have no choice but lose to them and get Cable with Virgin.DJLOREY said:Everyone that has ADSL has to pay an annual BT phone line subscription![]()
