What are the differences

Hoping that one of these motherboards will be on sale in the black Friday deals. The question is what are the differences between these two motherboards. I will be overclocking a 4690k on it:

I am not a expert but after a quick google seems that the Hero is better due to extra sata and M PCIE, along with better audio and better OC resutls.

I am also upgrading and personlly i picked the MSI z 97, its a little cheaper and does the job.

I'm want to go with the ROG ones just because of personal preference. But is it worth spending the extra on the hero or will the ranger be fine?
