What are the main comparison sites these days?

Still just Comparethemarket or Moneysupermarket really.

My auto renewal this year knocked %10 off, checking the online sites then knocked another 20% off. Happy days!

Last year my insurance went upto just over £700, my renewal this year was just over £800. Used the meerkats and auto Sergei to get me some quotes and the cheapest was just under £500! I declined this one though as it required a black box (im 48!), so went for the next cheapest with Aviva at £550.

INSURE247 is pretty good - don't have to remember passwords ,
once you have an email qoute can reclick it, modify reg plate and get an update easily keeping other conditions.

I still always double check on rac/aa/aviva directly too, for when the conditions may not have been accurately sent from compare engines, and evaluate combined insurance & breakdown options.

I use go compare as I've stored all the details for our cars in there so it's typically just press a couple of buttons at renewal time to get the quotes.

I used this one, and finally used a perk and got 25% off pizza express for my kids birthday meal last week. Good thing is it includes drinks as well as food so it's better than their own offers.

Nice,

yeh im sure i have some perks on the meerkat site

I also have some perks no the moneysupermarket site (you can select an activity (large activity once a month, smaller activity once every 7 days) - last weekend i used an every 7 day claim and went to a local city centre hotel, and used the spa (pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steamroom for free)
