What are the most original films you've ever seen?

A sense of originality is really hard to come by these days. Long gone are the days when I'm sitting down to watch something am I ever thinking that was an entirely original concept.

Therefore, in your opinion, what would you say are the most original films you've ever seen?

Granted, opinions will be based on the measurements of time as the old days tend to hold a greater sense of originality. But question is, how far do we have to go back?

For me.

Adaptation 2002 is one of the most original film I've ever seen.

Jeez, I haven't seen A Boy And His Dog since I was a kid. That's a good film. Not sure if i should watch that with the Mrs...

I had to look this up. "A rather kinky tale of survival"???

Would the Time Travelers Wife count. A few quirky films along those lines like Frequency spring to mind, but that one doesn't involve some tropey mystical phenomenon.

Wow. Not seen that in a long time. Yes I agree, very original.
